Rakunou Oukoku is a tourist farm on the Tanna Basin, producing dairy products with the commitment to “offer reliable and safe foods”. On the farm, there is an animal petting area where you can get in touch with cows, sheep, goats and rabbits.

There is also a restaurant that serves famous soft serve ice cream as well as preparing foods using only local ingredients. The farm does not use any pesticides in the vegetables they grow. They also feature Wasabi Butter, which is flavored butter mixing authentic wasabi leaves of Shizuoka with butter made from fresh milk. The richness of butter and the piquancy of the wasabi creates a savory harmony, and is an excellent accompaniment to meat dishes.

The Tanna Basin is visited by many tourists annually and is a place where you can enjoy the old-fashioned scenery of Japan.
